Here’s What I Offer

Private or Small Groups

Sessions in your home, office, or in-studio.

Corporate Sessions

On or offsite

Schools (and Thoughts on Supplies)

Sessions with teams, clubs, classes; focus varies from stress management to breathing, flexibility and core strength. Faculty & Staff Sessions and Professional Development are some of my absolute favorites.

If you’re ready to invest in some gear, I have shopping suggestions!

Two cork or foam blocks will facilitate so much for you; when shopping, be sure to get 9x6x4-inch blocks (they come in 3” widths, but they aren’t as supportive, and you’ll want that support).

A “yoga blanket” or “Mexican” blanket is another lovely perk — a thicker one will last you longer and provide extra cushion.

Your Yoga Mat: size matters here, too! My personal mat is 72”x28”, and I’m a fun-size person — if you’re taller, consider an extra-long mat. Look for keywords like “grippy” or “sticky.” Thickness is important, too, but the super thick Pilates-type mats will not get you the stability you’ll likely want. If you’re shopping, pick a price point you’re comfy with and maybe add $10 or $15; leveling up on quality and durability is generally a win.

I do have some favorites, if you’re interested in shopping links — I don’t earn from your purchase, so feel free to shop elsewhere, and do check measurements, including thickness on mats; there’s a ton of variation out there.

Cork blocks, 9x6x4”: https://a.co/d/16tfgpF (best price at the time I looked)

Foam Blocks, 9x6x4’, with a bonus strap: https://a.co/d/2IxCrIo

Yoga/Mexican Blanket: https://a.co/d/7i7iimE is a nice mid-range one and I’ve had several for awhile; they’ve held up very well.

Therapy balls — for magical myofascial release. I love Tune Up Fitness’ options (they have a great YouTube channel, too); a great starter pair is https://a.co/d/eJ4BY8i

Kirsten’s Mat: pricey, I’ll admit: I’ve had it 11 years, use it daily, and it lives in my car. https://a.co/d/f8AiWYk

A less pricey but lovely one — please consider the 78” mat; the extra length is totally worth it. https://a.co/d/4l3Q24j

Having said all that, the tools you currently have are also fine; give it a try with what you have and decide from there. We’re building mental flexibility in addition to physical flexibility. (Yoga joke, ha!)

In Studio

I’m a regular, rotating sub at The Woodlands Yoga Studio.  For a website with detailed course descriptions, follow this link https://www.thewoodlandsyogastudio.com/

We have new student specials and a lovely, informed staff who can hopefully answer all your questions. You can search for me as an Instructor, but please try out my other colleagues; each of them is lovely and has something special to offer.
